Well, here we go. This is my first page. I drew and inked this one digitally in Manga Studio EX. I had a difficult time with the truck especially. I had to do some pretty serious extrapolation from the only photo of the ‘perfect’ truck I had on hand.
It took a lot of time outlining the big tree on both sides of the outline. In retrospect I am sure I would have been able to get the same feel with only a thin line of white.
Please feel free to comment on this to let me know what you think, even if you don’t like it (tell me why though).

Love it! Totally worth all the effort. Very impressive first frame. Lots of weight, very strong start to the story.
